For the money, I don't think you'll find anything any better. I personally
haven't encountered your problem with S&T, but I also have a stand alone GPS
unit that I use. Can you give the names of the campgrounds you had trouble
with, and I'll see what comes up with my GPS unit? Might not be a S&T
problem.
puts it NE of Roswell. But really it is near Seven Rivers. Which we
figured out since the website for NM State Parks tells you it is 12
miles N of Carlsbad. The only reason we found it is because we are
planning a trip to NM next summer and trying to see different things.
The other one is Council Bluff Lake Campground in the Mark Twain
National Forest in MO. We we trying to figure out where is was for a
trail repair weekend. The website for the repair weekend and the
National Park Service showed it in a different place and they are about
45 miles apart.
And since my (Cindy) sense of direction is really bad, I need all the
help I can get. Mike can usually find things but since he drives and I
try not to get us too lost I really need help.
Thanks
Cindy
