I have used IE7 on and off for a few months. In general I like the
interface, but have a question about where a new page opens. When I am
reading email and see an interesting link, click it and leave it alone
until later when I read all the opened pages. With FF those new pages
all open in new tabs (or occasionally new windows) with IE7, they keep
opening in the same tab in the same window. I have not found any way to
have each new link open in a new tab (I'll settle for each one opening in
a new window). If you have used IE7 for a while, have you found a way to
achieve this?
Firefox offers the option of configuring how links will open in it, either
in a new tab, the current tab, new browser window and so on. I don't
recall the beta 2 release of IE7 having that option, and I haven't
installed the Release Candidate 1 version of IE7 because I'm on the road
right now. That might have the option of configuring tab usage, or it
might be a feature that shows up in the final release of IE7.

Yeah, I know how to configure FF to open the new pages where I want them,
but for other reasons (wanting to set the font size and have it work for
every page - it still does not in FF) I end up using IE7. Easier on my eyes
and no constant playing with the font size. Now if it just had a window/tab
configuration, it would be my first choice. I fear though, that it uses
the standard windows configuration where you have the choice of opening a
new window or having it opening the same window. It would be just like MS
to use that one setting as a universal.
