Firefox help.

After reading some recent posts about Firefox I downloaded it. It has
some very nice features and I would like to get more familiar with it.
Now I have a question for anyone who can help fix my problem. I
posted this same question to the page Firefox links you to for
problems but the only reply was not helpful. It suggested that I had
history turned off but this is not the case.

When using IE for reading messages on two different fishing web sites
http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/reports/florida/index.html and
http://www.network54.com/Forum/104183/
IE keeps a record of what posts have been viewed by changing the color
of the msg header. Firefox seems to do the same thing but only until
the current session is closed. When I open Firefox at a later time
the header colors have all changed back to original and I cannot tell
the last msg viewed. I have it set to retain history and I allow
cookies.

Any idea what I am doing wrong or not doing?

Thanks, Larry
.
