I'm amazed that in all the answers you got so far, NOBODY has asked
the simple question, if it is not XP, what the heck is it?!?!?
He said Windows 2000 in his post. Read it again..
Ben
Where do you see win2k in the above? all I see is "is not XP"....
The first line, which says:
"I want to network - wirelessly - my desktop (Win 2000 Pro) and my
laptop (Win XP Home)."
I still think that once the Advance setup for the available wireless
networks shows up when it detects the other card, that the setup in
2000k is similar enough to XP to work.
If not, I guess I'll have to make an early road trip and help him get it
working so he can move his map files from desktop to laptop.
BTW. SA2007 is available for preorder. Ship date is Aug 16th. Use
promo code 8727 for a 20% discount.
