Quicken used be famous for being customer-centric. No longer. Just go

Good info I didn't expect to find - Thanks! looks like I should stay
with my current vers of Agent & PSP....
All the best,

You're probably one of the smartest computer users here. I wish I
hadn't upgraded stuff many times. Until, of course the old version
refused to work with XP.
I read newsgroups with Agent 1.9, email with Eudora Light 3.0 (after
running Mailwasher 2.0.16 beta), the web with Firefox 1.04, and do the
books with Quicken 99 Basic.
These do everything I want to do, I don't get (or pass along) viruses,
and the only thing I paid for was Quicken and I think I've amortized
that by now. Unfortunately PSP 4 (or whatever version I had long ago)
is long gone.
I've been using Quicken since the first version for DOS. I used
to tell people Quicken was reason enough to have a computer, even
if you did nothing else with it.
I was using Quicken 2003, but found the upgrade to 2006 for $14
on the web last winter. The big advantage is the downloading of
credit card info on a daily basis by "one step update". In 2003
you had to go to the CC site and download to Quicken.
I love the way Quicken works with Vanguard, updating stock
quotes. Now if only Bank of America would do the same, I could
do just about everything I need to do within Quicken.
I do think they've gotten a little heavy handed with the ads and
menu solicitations, but I just ignore that stuff.
