Buy one of those fake fire hydrants and put it inside.
LZ
Then the ----dogs would be using it, and I'd have more mess than
emptying tanks without gloves. lol

Then hide it in a shrubbery. One of those evergreen types, it might take two
bushes to hide it. How far from the house is the curb anyway? I'm thinking
that you could simply run the cord from the RV to the wall of the house,
with an extension if need be. I keep my Class B plugged into a 15 amp outlet
using a 50 foot outdoor extension cord. The RV cord stays completly inside
the hatch. I don't need any more amperage that tha for it while it's parked
here.
Yes, I would have to plant some shrubs. Problem with that is the city
has a 4 ft. setback for plantings and even more restrictive rules the
closer to the corner stop signs. The closest point of the house to
the parking spot just happens to be the closest to the main power
panel, a distance of about 35 ft. I currently am using a 50 ft. 10/2
extension on an outside 15 amp outlet on the same corner of the house,
so I know 15 amps would be enough for me, but some of my friends with
newer units with the heatpump system will need the full 30 amps, most
likely. One size larger wire and larger breaker, installed now, isn't
a big cost, of course, so that is what I will do with whatever system
I end up using.
I would like to put it underground and unseen for several reasons-I
dislike having to unplug and roll it up, then redo it, and reset the
charger inside the RT each time I mow that area, I would like to
'pretty up' this view, both for myself and my neighbors, things like
that, also the cord on the ground is a good tipoff that there's a
motorhome with plenty of stealable items in it, rather than just an
older large van. I have given serious consideration to just shallow
burial of the underground cable type wire with an extension plug added
to the end, but have not figured a way to waterproof the curbside end
such that is is easily available but concealed and waterproof.
Sticking out of the ground with a plastic bag on the end probably
isn't the best idea. lol A trojan horse of plantings, or the solar
curb light stand sounds the most doable, but I still would really like
to get it totally underground, but safe and easily accessible.
I have been thinking along the lines of my water meter setup. A 15
inch oval concrete walled enclosure, open at the bottom with gravel in
it for drainage, buried to flush with the ground and maybe an upright
mounted rv plug in a waterproofed box attached to the inside wall of
one end inside it, with a gasketed lift off lid might do the trick.
Finding the parts commercially would be the challenge, probably would
have to be handbuilt from available parts. Or the same thing
enclosure idea, but using the heavy extension cord idea stored inside
the enclosure and pulled out to plug into the RT, rather than
uncoiling the RT external power cable to run to the electrical source
plug.
Thanks for the ideas and stimulating me to think how it could be done
unconventionaly.
