Fraid I don't understand that box at all... Netgear has had one for sale
Heres a post from alt.internet.wireless
from the marketing text...

Well probably Peter, it'd help to actually read the site instead of
just looking at the pretty pictures. Did you note the part about him
expecting a commercial version to appear? No surprise there, it's
such a good idea.

Did you also note the part about Linux based, open source and the Web
Camera interface? Or any other interface you care to hang off the
box. Or the logging and firewalling and all the other good stuff one
can do with a Linux system?

And (not that any Open Source coder would do something this dumb),
when things like this:

http://www.cs.wisc.edu/~plonka/netgear-sntp/

and this:

http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:vrfdNs-MrLsJ:people.freebsd.org/~phk/dlink/+D-link+ntp+server+vandalized
(sorry about the big URL but I had to find the page in google cache)

happen, one can fix it immediately rather than having to wait on the
vendor to do something, which, in the case of D-link, took a public
disclosure and a good slash-dotting to make them come around.

I'll take Linux and open source any day over anything closed and
proprietary. Besides, as a hardware hacker, I like putting stuff
together and knowing that I can figure out why it doesn't work if
something goes wrong.

This may be one of those situations where if ya gotta ask, you
wouldn't understand....
