Still happy with my el-cheapo Dell B130. Plug the MSN-510 into one of the 3 USB ports or use the Direcway. Hard to beat for $500 with the larger screen. Smaller screen was only $449. Does everything I use a laptop for.I am still in the market for a new laptop. I already had the Toshiba. Gave it away to someone that thought he was better equipped to make it work, not doing very good.
I always thought one that was not equipped with internal wifi was much better because the plug in cards or external were more powerful. But maybe I am wrong, I have been watching all the info here and still do not have a decision.

Why don't you have a wifi system.
What for? The DW4000 modems have a USB cable that plugs into the laptop. I don't have room to set up a router permanently anyway.
That is a wireless router connected to
your DW4000. Use the MSN-510 all the time, it is a wireless adapter isn't it. Does it have an antenna connection or does it have a USB port where you could connect a Hawking for range improvement.
The software for the 4000 is IN THE LAPTOP. I'd have to dedicate a laptop just to run the router from the modems. Only makes sense if I want to operate away from the motorhome. Now if I get the 7000, it would make sense to plug in the router.
