Thanks for the advise, Alan. I think (hope) it's spot-on (of course that's
because I bought it and should have it mid-week next week).

I can hardly wait until the new card gets here. I'm going RVing again the
end of the month at the same place I picked up a borderline wifi
connection. It will be fun to see if it's better with the new card (unless
it's not as good as the one built into the laptop).



Well, got it and it doesn't pick up squat with the antenna provided, without
it, or the Cantenna. I even bought the buffalo one (then took it back), it
doesn't pick up squat either compared to my built in wifi card on my
Toshiba. Apparently my built in wifi card on the Toshiba is far more
sensitive than any of these. I'm sending back this new B card. It's
worthless.
