Visit with Carl (FL)

Carl (chainfl) arrived in Town about 3:00 PM Monday and after taking in a
little shopping, stopped by the house.
I gave him a "tour" of the shop and some of my projects and we left for
dinner at the Great American Land & Cattle Co. Steakhouse. We had a really
enjoyable conversation, although some of it was a little over my head. He
has a lot of business experience. Actually, he has had a lot of several
types of experience. Interesting man.
We learned that we have a common interest in classical music and some of the
same favorites among composers, conductors and orchestras. I don't think
he shares my enjoyment of country music, however. <G>
When it came time for the check, Carl was absolutely insistent that he would
treat. I like to treat my guests when they come to town but Carl would have
none of it.
Nothing makes a good meal better than not having to pay for it. <G>
Early Tuesday morning he was on his way again.
Thanks for stopping by Carl.
And thanks again for a fine meal and an enjoyable visit.
Max
