The Website obviously has its facts wrong. Even though several companies
sell fully-sealed AGM batteries, the Website claims the Delco Voyager is
the
"only fully sealed battery in the USA." Sorry, but if they cannot even get
*that* information* right, then there's no reason to believe their other
claims!
Jeez David, can you ever be wrong?
The ACDelco website
http://www.acdelco.com/parts/battery/voyager-battery.htm?c=pst_voyager
makes the following statements about the Delco Voyager:
"Heat-sealed covers provide maintenance-free protection with added strength
and rigidity"
and
"Built-in flame arrester vents allow excess gases to escape"
The battery has heat-sealed covers, but it has vents. Therefore, one can
hardly claim that it's a sealed battery.
Mine are 7 years old. I have never serviced them in any way. Never
even seen them since I installed them. They still work. They are
sealed.
I'm glad you've had good service from your battery, but that really has
nothing to do with whether or not it's sealed.
get a grip.
