I'll let you know how quickly it ruins it <g>.

What is the RU for, was it an upgrade or something. I have
the 7355, 13.6 vdc. No timer.

Yeah. It's an easy swap-out upgrade from the OEM 6325 that was in the
van when I bought it (slightly used). That was one of the first
modifications I did to it.

$200 and an hour of my time well spent, no regrets. I can (and do) leave
it plugged in for days on end with no problem.

The first AGM, installed at about the same time as the converter
upgrade, developed a dead cell after 2 1/2 years. The distributor
replaced it under five-year prorated warranty (charged me for only two
years and paid for overnight shipping), and its identical replacement
has lasted 3 1/2 years so far without any sign of a problem. I'll be
sure to let you know if this AGM dies before the five years of RV-use
warranty they put on it runs out.

They weren't concerned about it -- and in fact didn't even ask me how I
used it or whether I left it plugged in. They just replaced it, period,
with no hassle at all. My kind of customer service. When it does finally
die -- whenever that is -- I will buy another in a heartbeat. I LOVE not
having to even *think* about house batteries. I'm sold on AGMs.
