Why did you mention at one time that you signaled the truck to pull in just in front of you just before you lost control? If he was a mile down the road I don't think he would need a signal to move back into your lane. Cuaght again in one of your lies.>
Like anyone who engages in childish rhetoric, you plucked something from context. The narrative stated that we were traveling well below the speed limit.
But too fast for conditions, OBVIOUSLY.
As an example of how slowly we were traveling, I mentioned
that we had given the truck the headlight signal. Shortly NOT IMMEDIATELY after that we hydroplaned. The truck was traveling at 80 mph.
Who says so?
He had to be well in front of us for us to give him the signal.
Why? I give it when I can see the driver's face in the mirror if he signals to get back in.
He
didn't cross over into our lane until he was a mile away from us.
Doubt if he even saw your signal then. He certainly had no need for it.
I'm a writer.
A very poor writer.
I use all kinds of devices in my narratives.
Mostly imaginative or blatantly false.
The truck was
brought in to give the readers a better picture of how slowly we were traveling.
Sounds like total irrelevance UNLESS he had an effect on your loss of control.
The scenario you constantly paint is a figment of your imagination; a fabrication you've constructed. I find it tragic that you had to make up a story to carry around in your back pocket to pull out, like a snotty hanky, every time I get the best of you.
You don't get the best of me. It's all in your head. As a liberal, you regard fantasy the same as fact.
The Kentucky State Police have records of numerous accidents like ours occurring on that stretch of highway every time it rains.
Do they have warning signs up? If not, you should sue.
Nothing to do
with trucks; everything to do with the pavement and poor contour of the road.
And idiots who drive the stretch at a speed faster than conditions warrant.
The wrecking company has numerous records of being called out for
such accidents, too. If you would like the phone numbers of the state police barracks and the wrecker, send me a personal email and I'd be glad to provide them.
Why not post them here? I take it both are in the phone book. The fact that other dummkopfs have had accidents on the same stretch only means you have joined the list of dummkopfs.
Congratulations.
Admit that when I first mentioned truck turbulence you had never heard of it but now that you drive a motorhome it's a big factor. >
Our fifth wheels were not effected by passing trucks. The motorhome definitely is.
You didn't know what it was but the same turbulence was there.>
You just THINK turbulence doesn't affect 5th wheelers but your "thinking" does not conform to reality. The same turbulence is there, a klutz may wonder what it is that his making his steering wheel skittish but an experienced driver KNOWS what's causing it.
The same turbulence may be there but it did not have any effect on the steering or stability of the fifth wheels. It didn't come up when I drove the big truck either. Obviously you've never learned the difference between cause and effect upon different configurations of vehicles.
I was the one who pointed them out when you were being taught about them. *I* furnished the reference.>
No proof whatever since the trooper filed his report based on your tale. He just had to put something in that block.
So the Trooper lied?
Where did I say that? He put down a plausible excuse for your accident after listening to your tale of woe. If anyone lied it was you.
Why would he do that? Why would the state police
tell us that there are hundreds of accidents like ours every year whenever it rains?
Because you were not the only dummkopf who drives on slick highways when it's pouring rain. He was saying "join the club".
Why would the wrecker tell us the same? Those people
are liars but an old man who has never seen that stretch of highway knows the truth? That's just too funny!!!
They weren'r lying. They were welcoming you to the dummkopf club.
You don't even know what caused your accident. You're perfectly happy to accept hydroplaning because it hides your stupidity. An MDT with good tires is not prone to hydroplaning and if WAS hydroplaning you were FOOLS to be driving in those conditions.
I know what the police told me. They saw something on the pavement.
What was it? A banana peel?
The
report says so. Even though you weren't there, saw none of the reports or any of the documentation, you know better than everyone else? What an ego!!
Sounds like you when you talk about my military experiences, eh?
What were the conditions in your litle fiction. In my truth, the rain had stopped and we were traveling well below the speed limit even though there were no posted signs about wet pavement dangers.
Then you should sue the DOT.
Don't tell me you believe that *everyone* who drives on wet pavement is a fool.
Just those who lose control and end up in the rhubarbs because they can't handle what they are driving.
You keep digging yourself into a deeper hole. Even though I'm
having a great deal of fun playing this game, I really think you should give it up before you lose what little credibility you still have here.
I'm not in any contest. Just passing time as we get ready to travel.
I remember you posting here not too long ago that you were traveling in the rain. That makes *you* dumb, right?
Did I end up in the ditch?
