Minimum wage.

Or a Physics teacher who can't figure out how to wire up a 12 volt solar
panel which has one black wire and one white wire.

Overpaid if they gave him more than $2 an hour. When my granddaughter was
in the 6th grade she was able to repair a string of Christmas bulbs wired
in series. She already knew more than Harry ever learned. Is that
pathetic or what?

This topic has come up in a few "Bash the Harry" threads and I just don't
see the relevance. As a physics instructor I would expect him to understand
the laws of physics, not the color codes used in automotive wiring systems.
If he was a shop teacher, then yes, I would expect him to know red is
positive and black is negitive. As a physics treacher I would quiz him on
the artomic structure of poloarized sumthin or other. I remember in physics
class back in 1981, we had to wire up some experiments using a 12 volt power
supply and we used all black wires with tags used to keep track of polarity.
Ticker tape was also black...and the text book clearly showed a red ticker
tape. It appears to me that physics instructors can very well be color
blind and still get the job done.
