I do. Get rid of ALL third party payers, so that the consumer negotiates

Of course, that would force a couple million people to get REAL jobs,

Of course, it won't work for ONE PERSON to try it, but if everyone did,
medical costs would drop like a rock, and medical care would become
affordable.

Right. I can see me negotiating a rate with my doctor: "What's it
gonna cost for my heart surgery, Doc? That much? What's the discount
for cash?"

I left your original absurd comment in it's entirety, as well as your
follow-up, because they definitely qualify as one of your loonier
ideas on how society should operate.

Real jobs? What's a real job? Or a fake one? How are people spending
their lives in the way of good medical care?

But then, I don't know why I bother providing proof to someone like
Canoli, who long ago lost any shred of honesty he ever had.

You're losing it, Lon, you forgot to screech liar liar. Try two cups
of green tea daily, oriental studies show that improves thinking
ability and holds senility at bay. Might be a bit late for you but
hey, every little bit helps, as the boy said when he peed into the
ocean.
