I'm in the process of buying a new house with room to park my
father's motor home. Now I need to find a place to purchase a power
pole so the RV can "camp" on my property. All I need is a 30 amp
service, but I think I may go all out and put in both 30 and 50
(just in case). Does anyone know where I can get these parts in Eastern
Ontario
(Canada)? I'm also open to getting this via mail order.

Here is some information about the wiring, and receptacles you will

For 30 amp you need a NEMA TT-30R. For 50 amp you need a 14-50R (Same
as a range receptacle). If you don't have a good handle on electric
wiring, get help. If, and this is kind of an important if, you will
only be plugging in one RV at a time, a 50 amp or a 30 amp, you can
do one run of 6/3 wire from the main breaker box to the RV plugs, fed
by a double pole 50 amp breaker. If I were to do it his way, I'd run
the feed to a sub-panel then through breakers to the plugs. Hope that
makes sense.

As to where to buy, any well stocked electric supply store, Home Depot,
Lowes, Camping World, or any well stocked RV store.
