My receiver puts up a box on the screen menu. Choice of ZIP or
Lat/Long.

I have played with my receiver a lot and cannot find such a
feature. Just zip. Am I missing something or is it possible that
because I have DirecTivo, the menus are slightly different??

Did you know that many of the mapping software programs will give
you zip codes. I have Delorme Street Atlas 8.0 and all I do is plug
in the name of the nearest town and state for the zip. Check your
mapping programs.

I have Streets & Trips. I have not used that feature (didn't know it
was there and didn't look), but I don't think it will work for me
while I travel in Mexico. ;-)

Darn it, use the programs I referred you to. I haven't used zip code for
over 2 years. I use lat/lon, and the Lookangle program. Crank the dish up,
point to the right azimuth, and adjust elevation. Quite makin your life
hard. :-)
