What's the point? He dragged her out for no reason. And his boss apologized for it the next morning. You lose once again.

So why did you find it necessary to lie about events? Is it just habit?

The point was, her attempt to ruin a formal occasion was sidetracked and she looks even more ridiculous. If that's possible.
