Are you talking about a government owned Google database or a privately
owned, or publicly traded Google database?

If it is government owned, then I agree with you about freedoms. To my
knowledge, Google is not a government entity and therefore freedom means
freedom of choice. You are free to chose to not use Google. If it were a
government entity then it would have to be accessable by all citizens and
protected by all sorts of constitutional issues. Do you really want a
Government controlled search engine?
