Evrybody's deadlines just happened to be within 20 minutes of the
initial report? I doubt it. Didn't Geraldo know how to find the CEO,
who had been talking to the media all along? How do you know he tried?
Because he said so?

You have heard of "get the scoop even if it's wrong", haven't you?

Why do you think a "deadline" should be more important than not
publishing false reports, anyway?
