You are simply amazing, Tom. It's quite clear that gbinnc@xxxxxxxxxxx sat
down with computers that weren't working properly (his words were "very sick
ones") and after "hours and hours" with them they *were* working properly.
Once has to have an *extremely* narrow definition of "repair" to claim that
he wasn't repairing them.

I deal in facts, and I deal in definitions. I don't let Doublespeak from a
vocal few on a Usenet Newsgroup take precedence over facts and definitions.

I know computers well. I've built several of them, and I've successfully
dealt with both hardware and software problems. I also have computer
technicians at work who deal with hardware and software issues, and I'm
aware of several computer repair services who deal with both hardware and
software issues. Claiming that dealing with hardware is "repair" and that
dealing with software is not is simply nonsensical. A good computer
technician deals with both, and deals with them seamlessly from the
customer's perspective.

You are wise if you really do stop discussing it here, though: Your blowing
smoke doesn't impress me at all.
