Kerry made deals with the Viet Cong in Paris.  He qualifies as a traitor.

At the time Kerry volunteered it was a low-risk posting. After he was assigned the mission changed-----and Kerry made every effort to get out of the combat zone. Wounded? I have larger scars from slamming an M-2 bolt on my pinky.

Truman initially got us into Indo-China in a deal with the French. Do the research. We left our allies in the lurch because bottom-feeding liberals lost their balls when they saw their draft notices showing up in the mail.
