Linus You obviously never played "Superman" when you were a kid, did you? Once you jump off something too high ( with that cape around your neck) "all" the "Superman" players, learn when to quit.
We jumped out of hay barns but were smart enough to have a haystack below us.
To continue in something that isn't working, just because of fear of
being called "a quitter", is just plain dumb.
YOU see it as not working but many others see it the other way. The guys actually in Iraq have a better view than you do. I'll take their word over yours any day.
Maybe the Prez ought to let the GIs in Iraq have an election, to decide if we stay there? HawHawHaw!
I hear the re-enlistment rates for combat vets is really high. I consider that a vote.
Maybe we should have a "special tax", of a dollar per gallon on gas, as a bonus for the GIs who have to serve there? What do you think of that idea?
I'm sure that you would never volunteer for military service but some do. A bonus for combat vets is always a good idea though.
Knowing when to quit is smart....
Do you usually punt on first down? LZ
