That is what I said. However, since then I have read the instructions
again,

and have concluded that it should be possible to configure the utility
to open two or more virtual com ports. Should that be the case, SA
could use, for example, com3, and S&T could use com4 at the same time.
Under no conditions could they both use the same port simultaneously.
They *can* use the same port, if not run at the same time.
