Buy GPS Gate from here:

With Delorme SA 2006 running the background and with voice enabled, put S&T
at the front with voice disabled. You get the benefit of the best of both
programs, the better maps of S&T and the better voice instructions of SA.

You can also keep the log created by SA and play with it later, or use it as
evidence if you ever got a speeding ticket, when you weren't speeding, or
something like that.
