If it never gets to trial, it's because there is no "there" there.

Nothing in the indictments say the "outing" law was ever violated and
THAT is what the investigation was focused on at the request of the CIA. To avoid coming up empty, the prosecutor now (after 2 years) has to settle for indictments based on when and where Libby heard what.


The prosecutor made a strong point about how perjury derails an investigation and that is why he pursued the indictments. Good job.

Democrats are cheering about the indictments but when the Clintons
committed perjury to derail investigations, the Democrats applauded them for ignoring the law.
