I bought a Dell two years ago and from the very beginning problem
after problem to numerous to explain.

The last time I called tech support was about three months ago and of
course I was told the unit was out of warranty. But I was immediately
told that I was being transferred to the software support group.

When they finally answered and I told them the model laptop that I had
without any hesitation I was told that I had to do a complete
reinstall. When I asked them why they said I probably had a virus
although I do have virus protection. They also said that if I needed
any further assistance they would have to have my credit card number.

So I did a complete reformat and reinstall and it is as if I have a
completely brand new computer. I'm guessing that the original factory
installation was screwed up and they did not want to tell me.

Albert finally enjoying the laptop finely.
