To me a lie is a deliberate act of deception for the purpose of distorting
reality.
If a person issues a statement that contains errors, but believes them to be
true, then a lie has not been commited, but only an error of knowledge that
was innocently held to be the truth. Lies on the other hand are fraudulent
in all aspects.

My philosophy regarding judging other people's conduct is, everyone is
innocent until proven guilty beyond a shadow of doubt. That means I need
evidence that can be verified, objective, and so over whelming in nature,
that no other conclusion is possible.

In the context of this discussion, with the rules I have set for myself,
President Bush is innocent of lying.
