WalMart has Zatarain, I never noticed any other brand. Their seasoning is not like the New Orleans scratch. They have to much flavor enhancers in it, you can spread it out by using more rice or beans depends on what you are fixing. If you have a prep box requiring smoked sausage you will not match the original unless you buy sausage from a country store down on old US-90 south of New Orleans around Morgan City. There is less meat in their sausage then one would realize, but seasoned just right.

The sodium content in Zatarain's would give have of this NG a stroke. There are several good internet sites that have recipes for regional cooking. If you are handy in the kitchen, you'll be able to make a very good red beans and rice without all of that salt.
