I have a son who was a volunteer and served in the 101 Airborne
Division where the casulty list was huge at the beginning of the war.
His father also served, not as a volunteer. If you think these young
people signed up just to die because an old fogie like yourself thinks
it's perfectly okay to die for a foreign country, not their own
homeland, then you are hopeless.

Did you see one other post from a woman other than Linda? Would you
believe a father who was against the huge toll of Americans being lost
in Iraq any more than mothers? You would agree with *anybody* who did
not spew the same brand of party-fed bull*** that you adhere to?

To me, all of you so-called conservatives seem to feel that the death of
American children is justified in Iraq. If you are so conservative,
why don't you concentrate on conserving the lives of the next
generation.

The people who attacked *my* country weren't in Iraq. They were and
still are hiding in Afghanistan. Kill the good guys along with the bad
guys there. Get permission from Pakistan to go in there and get them. Go
into the other breeding grounds of terrorists and get them there. When
we set up shop in Iraq looking for weapons that the government now
admits were never there, we invited every terrorist to come on in.

I'll agree with that if you stop at World War II. Korea, Viet Nam and
certainly Iraq were no threat to American freedom though that is what
the government wanted us all to swallow while it killed our children. .
the people who bombed *my* country are in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
>EGAD what a stupid woman you can be!
EGAD! what a puppy to political rhetoric you can be!
Stupidity is the erroneous belief that you can stop me from voicing an
opinion by calling me names. Stupidity is trying to remove my
constitutional right of free speech just because I don't believe as you
do. I am more of a patriot than you will ever be because, true or not,
I believe that the people of this country, unlike others, have a right
to express their opinions. To call me names for expressing an opinion
that differs from yours is just plain un-American!
No one died and appointed you official thinker for the rest of us.
