You didn't specify when. Has it gotten better, sure. Are there still
professors in schools across the country who state that women don't
belong in science and engineering courses because they are taking a
man's place? There sure is - in 2005! Luckily these old foggies are
retiring. And we can hope that we find enough women to fill a few of
these slots are give all students exposure to the different types of
people who are involved in science and engineering.
