Larry, you posted a recommendation of bird dog training books
some time back. Could you reprise that please ?

I had an incredible bit of luck today. I talked to the lady
who owns a private hunting preserve 20 minutes south of here
in Tolono. She shut it down two seasons ago when she had to
have surgery to remove a tumor. Me and exactly 8 other guys
can use the place, clubhouse, sporting clays course, pheasant
everywhere, for $100 apiece a year (her insurance costs).

So I've got about 8,000 acres of corn fields, seed lots, marsh
and the Embarras River to boot all to myself practically any
time I want. We all call first so only one person is on the
property at a time.

Kaylin and I took the grand tour today. This is going to be a
*great* place to train my puppy.
