Does anyone have any idea where I might find information about do-it-

I would be surprised if there is such info available. The trouble
being that Pantagonia (Chile and Argentina) is not very well
populated. Most of the fishing in that area would be from either a
lodge or an outfitter. A major problem would be getting to the rivers
from the last aiport you fly into. Most lodges/outfitters pick you up
and the drive in can be several hours.
A do-it-yourself in Alaska is easy, and there are several outfitters
that will do it for you. I have not heard of one in Patagonia,
however, and I have two friends that work there during our winter.
Best advice: google "patagonia" +"fly fishing" +"do it yourself"
Good luck. Let us know how you make out.
Dave
