I know what a POS many think OE is but I prefer it, as I am used to it, so I
won't require advice on getting rid of OE. As well I know MS is worthless
shit as well, or they wouldn't have created MS Office 2007 so that the spell
check feature in OE is disabled.
Anyway, if anyone know of a fix, as MS doesn't, I'd like to here about it.
Btw, as soon as I am able to afford an Apple product PCs will be out of my
life forever, I think?

Since you didn't say what exactly you've tried, I'll suggest the most
easy first. To customize the way your spelling checker works, on the
Tools menu, click Options, and then select the Spelling tab. Make sure
the settings are such that you actually have the spell check function
turned on.
Beyond that, I really wouldn't know, without knowing what you have and
have not tried.
Good luck,
