I finally have a few minutes to read the various TRs posted recently. We
sure had us some fun chasing fishes around this part of the world. Willi and
jeff proved (again) to be the best sort of houseguests and traveling and
fishing companions. I wish the fish had been more cooperative, but the water
conditions in the lake were not optimal. Still, we were able to hook a few
now and then. I certainly don't have an appropriate level of knowledge about
the lake and the surrounding mountain streams to serve as a guide, but
fortunately my erstwhile companions can find fish in a desert. I look
forward to a future rendezvous.

Before jeff can do any more damage to my hard-earned and well-deserved rep
as a crass cudmurgeon-in-training, let me point out that all kudos for
playing host and making guests comfortable goes to my much better and much
better looking partner, Cindy. Here's a woman who actually enjoys the
company of smelly, sunburned fishermen and will tolerate the accompanying
flotsam and jetsam that is a part of such sustained fishing trips. I'm a
lucky man, to say the least.

I can't/won't try to recount the events of the past couple of weeks, but
suffice to say that I had a great time and hope to see y'all back here again
soon.

I'll post some pics on ABPF as time permits.

Take care,
Danl
