see, Frank gets it! Really, most of us haven't seen this sort of juvenile
stuff since childhood, and enjoy it immensely as a break. It gets tedious, I
tell you, solving all the world's problems, lying about fishing exploits,
mocking our various feeble almas mater and the like. I mean, there WAS a
real reason to criticize Connor, as he writes as if God himself has given
him the last word on a sport in which NO ONE knows it all, or even half.
But, for a guy way too concerned with his own place in the angling
firmament, this sock puppet theater display pretty much seals the opinion
about him. Interesting choice of location to implode, insofar as all those
cited forums are privately held and thus not necessarily archived, but folks
might be able to dig up a Usenet thread for years and years.
