Don't know about outcome percentages, but do know about newest prostate
cancer surgical (non radioactive) because I took a chance on the robot when
it was being proofed up a few years ago and it probably saved my life. (So
far at least). The nerve damage in my arms I got had zip to do with the
robot per se, and more to do with the fact that the Docs were learning and
things just went too long. Id do it again with the same guys in a heartbeat.
In any case I had my arms pretty much back in 18 months. Like Dave says,
and I believe, the US is the current leader in this stuff. However, now that
same operation costs 40-50k US in Seattle area.
Also, lots here go up North to BC to buy various first rate surgeries and
dentistry at lower than US costs. And Im told lots go to Cuba for very
advanced eye surgery.
