Oh, sure. You don't have to educate yourself to know that New Orleans
and Louisiana are two of the most corrupt governments there ever were,
and they've been Democrat for 60 years. They failed because of this
corruption, parking evacuation busses in the flood zone, sending
people to a superdome without food/water, or a plan for how to get
them out. Just put 'em there and forget 'em! They didn't implement
their evacuation plan, nor ask for help - US can't take over the Nat'l
Guard of a state without the governor's approval, and the governor
didn't know what the hell to do with the Guard. She was overheard on
an open mike saying, "I should have called for help sooner." Hell,
even the Red Cross had trouble cutting through all the red tape put up
by your Democrats. And then, the effin mayor sends his police
officers to Las Vegas for a vacation! This was *after* most of them
either quit or did a whole helluva lot of looting themselves.
Uneffinbelievable.

The *Republican* mayor of NY City, and the *Republican* govenor of NY
State, otoh, rolled up their sleeves and went to work without any
glitches on 9/11. I don't think they once thought of blaming
*anyone*. And, the *Republican* govenor of Florida had little trouble
overcoming 4 hurricanes in less than a year.

Hang in there, Richard, and forget about the likes of the Fortenberrys
in this world, who bitch and moan but never roll up their sleeves and
never have a solution to anything except to "Blame it on the
Republicans."
