OutdoorFrontiers.com is back online!

Hello all,

I'm sure you're all aware that we had a bad experience here at OutdoorFrontiers.com. We were hacked and the hosting company did a weekly backup, unfortunately over-writing the previous week's backup. So when we were hacked, and the hosting company attempted to restore the site, the most recent backup had the corrupted information in the site and the previous week's backup was over-written with the corrupted code as well, rendering the site useless. To make matters worse, I did have the site backed up, but it was on an external hard drive that decide it was time to croak as well! So I had no website and no viable backup to restore, OutdoorFrontiers.com was dead.

I had contacted many different web designers, in an effort to have a new website built, only to be told they were all too busy! I guess the downturn in the economy hasn't affect web developers. One did say that he'd build me a site, so there I was, expecting to get a call or email from him at any time saying the site was ready for my approval. After a month of waiting, the email from this web designer finally arrived. Expecting to see a link to the new proposed site, I instead got the message that he was too busy and wouldn't be able to do the site as agreed upon! Grrrrrr......

I knew that Charles Summers had the ability to build a site, but I also knew that he was pretty busy. In desperation, I called Charles and asked him for help. He readily agreed and we now have a working version back online. The new site is pretty much what is was before, but is still a work in progress as there are some pages and features that have yet to be installed. Charles and I will be working on this, with Charles taking care of the behind the scenes stuff and I'll be restoring the content. Thank you Charles for all of your hard work.

Unfortunately, in the process of losing the old site, we also lost all of the member data base. So all of you that were previously members of OutdoorFrontiers.com can now once again sign up as members for free to discuss fishing, hunting and the great outdoors.

We have the forums back online, and the photo gallery is back as well. There will be more features and improvements coming as we can get to them. Please feel free to contact me with ideas on how to improve the site.

Thanks for your time and support, hopefully I'll see you soon on OutdoorFrontiers.com
