I'm scheduled to give a slide show on period jewelery at Pennsic. I used to give it with a slide projector, but last year a very helpful lady
lent me a video projector she had brought and I was able to give the
show from my laptop--which meant both that I could use my more recent
pictures, taken with a digital camera, and that I could crop, label, and
in other ways manipulate the pictures.
So far as I know, that projector isn't coming this year. I can, if
necessary, convert all my jpg's to slides, but there are a lot of them
and doing so at a reasonable cost requires me to send them in pretty
soon. I would therefor appreciate it, if there is someone who is going
to have a video projector at Pennsic and would be willing to lend it to
me for a few hours, if he or she would let me know.

Re: USB-stick on video projector? ... Have you considered a digital picture frame?... The point is that, up to now, I still use a SLR analogue camera with slide films, eventually shown with a slide projector on a screen. ... So that is why a video projector might be a suitable follow up option for the old-fashioned slides, but on the other hand, I would not want the whole system to be more complicated than my present analogue stuff... ...
