you are not killfiled yet.

Lars, how do you *know* Frank isn't killfiled?

I just made an educated guess, since he only has 44 posts on google, 41 of them in German newsgroups. You must have been awfully trigger-happy to killfile somebody for just popping his head up once. OTOH you might have a whitelist or know him personally.

I challenge you to report the contents of *my* killfile!

If I could, I would go out and get Randi's Million.

If he's in it (was in it when you posted), then your statement is an unforgiveable lie and you must apologize profusely.

d'oh. And how can I know that the state you claim your killfile to have been in before I posted was actually the state it was in? Do you regularily send backups of your killfile to a notary?

It will be on topic
because it has something to do with the newsgroup itself.

Meta-discussions suck, so let's start a meta-meta-discussion about why
they suck :-).

Lars, feeding trolls

Should we be clear when we know we're doing that? Does it perhaps spoil the food?

Hmmm. Some people just don't realize they are trolling, and I thought the OP was one of them. And since irony is mostly lost in translation I, as a non-native speaker, went for a small notification along the lines of "p.s. you're trolling".

What befuddles me is that I haven't even seen the OP here before, so
he's not been around long enough to want to get rid of this group. I
think he's just flexing his muscles.

I've "been around" ROM since the mid '90s, and absolutely don't have the ability to get rid of the group.

"you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave".

Check out JimC's posts in this thread for a more humorous take on it. OTOH, if Frank finds ROM a wasteland, and wants to get rid of it, he can easily unsubscribe, and never waste his time on it again.

:-).
