Re: When a newsgroup ought to be shut down

Dear Mr Collier,

I have drawn the attention of the Borgling Puissant to the activities
of Mr. Lars Wrecker. His case will be considered at the next Lower
Conclave.

The Borgling Puissant has asked me to thank you for your sterling work
on behalf of wreck.org.mensa.

Yours sincerely,

Cynthia Grebe,

you are not killfiled yet.

It is not unlikly to be the first on topic posting for months (I only
checked this month).

It's hard to define what's off-topic in a rec. group, but quite a few
postings, e.g. those by by Vince, Rob Duncan, Stacey, Gordon,... are
readable. So fire up your filters (simply filter for massive crossposts)
and stop whining.

It will, however, not be no topic because it has
anything to do with mensa itself or its members.

You know this isn't an official Mensa group, do you?

Then how come once you're accepted by the High Commission
on R.o.m. Certification (*), you get the password to all the Mensa
clubhouse cypher locks? You do know about this, don't you?

(*) Requirements for certification

1. One year of posts with rating of A- or higher.
2. Not on any certified member's kill file.
3. Check or money order for U.S. $49 to the High Commssioner.

Requirements 1 and 2 will be waived for parties who make a
bonus offering of at least U.S. $100 to the high commish.
