No, I don't think we did give him crap for 9/11 actually. Not until a
much later time when people started to realize he froze up when he
heard the news and even then it wasn't nearly as bad as this.

As a matter of fact, it was people's high opinion of how he handled
9/11 that offered him the ability to invade Iraq. If people had seen
him in this light back then I don't htink it would've been nearly as
easy for him to get approval to go to war.

As for how HE handled this, I don't think it was so much him as it was
the red-tape and beaurocracy of the system that slowed down the help.
If a situation is out of everyone's day-to-day tasks, it takes a lot
longer for large organizations to react.
