is a suitable description.
We do need humor here, but we do not get any from you. �We get much

Bozo [Charlie]loves to blame everyone else for "ruining this forum"
when it is
the conclusion of probably 99% of folks here that it is Charlie
himself who has ruined this forum, big time.
Who else things he deserves respect and says so? We all deserve
respect, but only Bozo cries like a baby, and gets nasty when he
doesn't receive enough attention and the kind of respect he thinks he
deserves. Being so delusional, of course, he really has no idea of
how
his posts negatively affect this ng. And he will say he is glad they
do, since everyone here (except 5 or 10, depending on the day) is
stupid, crazy, and in dreadful need of therapy.
Charlie has ruined this forum and continues to do so. His posts when
angry are truly filthy and disgusting, and an insult for all
reasonably intelligent folks to even read. I do read many of them,
since in addition to being awful, they are so funny. Charlie says
everyone else is guilty, and he is normal. Now even Charlie's
"buddies" of the past never thought he was the least bit normal, and
he isn't.
In addition to what we see here, he is self centered, and selfish,
and
has proven this to my satisfaction and to the satisfaction of others
many times, ever since I knew him about 35 years ago.
Charlie should really just give it up with RMO, and leave everyone
else in peace. We won't all agree, but there will be little or no
filth and disgust in the posts if he finally stopped posting.
But Charlie never will, since, as I have said before, he needs any
attention he can get. Even negative attention (such as this post) is
better than none. This is the first time I have addressed the issue
in
a long time, but it is getting worse and worse.
Charlie has no therapist friends. He has no friends at all. That is
why this is all so important to him, though he is very fond of
denying
this. Many of his posts are text book lessons in insecurity and
downright meaness. He would never ask the one or two singers that
might still put up with him to read this ng, since they would then
see
what he posts, also, and would drop him as quickly as most singers
have already dropped him.
He thinks he has "fans." Can he name some? He is his only fan, and
even he constantly doubts himself. He does nothing lately but turn
out
podcast after podcast, making sure we all know he is up to number
308,
or 309. Who cares? Anyone with nothing else to do can make that many
podcasts over a few years. And at the rate he has been going lately,
he will be up to 500 inferiour podcasts in no time.
He claims that some of us are jealous of him. What the hell is there
to be jealous of? Those of us who are collectors never sent tapes to
others that were encrusted (literally) with stale food, such as week
old pizza, tomato sauce, mustard, ketchup.
As a "pirate" he has contributed nothing. Name one single release
that
Charlie ever put out that became a famous live performance recording.
The answer is none, since he never even had a lable and never
released
a single performance, ever. The real "pirates" were Rod Rodriquez,
Fuggette, Bill Violi, and maybe me. We all put out historical
performances that were not only carried in places like Tower, but
also
at the Met Gift Shop, which was our best retail customer for years
after Tower.
The days of these releases seem to be gone, but they lasted for well
over 30 years, and in all that time, Charlie contributed naught,
niente, gazzo. Nobody even knew who he was back then. He had his
catalog, for which he charged about $60 or $70 for his encrusted reel
to reel tapes, while more precise live performance folks charged less
than $10 for the same item, without the encrusted food, and in much
better quality.
But I do digress, and I am sorry. It's just that I get sick and tired
of Charlie trying to convince himself just how important he is. He is
entirely inconsequential in the ranks of opera collectors.
And he continues to disgrace this list daily with ugly posts of
insults to a myriad number of people because they dare to disagree
with him.
To close, he is, when all is said and done, a loser among losers. I
have never known a bigger loser, sorry to say.
Of course this post will do no good, and will probably do more harm
than good, but I feel much better after writing it.
Jealous? Charlie, thy name is jealousy and delusion. You are jealous
of every other poster here because they live the "normal" life that
you claim you lead, Except that they really do, and you really don't,
and never have.

ay." Did it ever occur to you that what you do and every breath you

I can ignore his sad attempts at humor, but I won't ignore disgusting
language directed at a woman who did nothing to deserve it.
If he does not apologize to Evelyn, I think that I will mail copies

the exchange to the only two people who still post at his "opera
group." � �One of those seems to be a quite respectable woman, who
might well be appalled to meet the REAL Charles.

In almost every conflict, there inevitably comes a point when there
is
someone who does something pusillanimous. They sell out anyone, and
themselves, �for their own interests, no matter how limited those
interests are. I have often wondered about those people - they will
do
anything for the hope of a pat on the head, and really they are like
beaten dogs skulking around and who will walk up to anyone,
hindquarters moving like roto-rooters, in the hope of attention.
Yesterday's 'enemy' is today's 'friend' if they can hope to get an
extra piece of food. You talk all the time about 'Nazis", and
everyone
you don't like is a Nazi, but the truth is that, if you were 'there',
you'd be the first person to betray your fellow religionists for an
extra portion or a special privilege for yourself, and you'd
rationalize it, or try to, to the rest of the world.
I have absolute confidence that Geraldine doesn't need you, lol,and I
don't think she's asking for you. To see you walk up to anyone you
can, from moment to moment, on the pretext that the enemy of your
enemy is your friend, and to offer them your little opinions �- your
'change of heart' about Domingo, for one, is about as convincing as a
Presidential press conference - as if they were going to be fooled,
is
nauseating.
