They fired her missing rehearsals, 6 out of 10 scheduled, including ones

that were supposed to happen during the time she was in New York. At
least, according to the LOC Press Statement widely reported in
Mainstream Media

I had thought she was let go earlier...but at the dress they mentioned
she was let go the day before because she kept missing rehearsals.
Renata Scotto is directing this excellent production...and when it
comes to an older, greater Diva vs. a younger, stupider one...guess
who wins? And Alvarez was simply superb...I didn't miss the other
one...not one bit!
