By the way, I was also there too, and I was less than entertained by the
whole evening, especially the two of them running out at the end in those
ridiculous red costumes - with six more all we would have needed was Santa
Claus.
It looks that there were as many people there as at Warren's final
performance.
In any case, I think Ed has resolved it. I was just confirming how strange
it was that anyone would have thought that it could have been a C from
either of them at that point.

This is about the most bizarre discussion I've read here, even by rmo
standards. Everyone is arguing what note they sang when Ed has told
us he was not only at the performance, but has a recording of it.
So, Ed, what note did Domingo and Pavarotti sing when they performed
"Di quella pira"? I, too, am more than skeptical that it was a C,
but it seems this can be resolved quickly enough.
