Hhhmpph. That's a shame - guess I'll have to find a pub in the Covent
Garden area then that isn't too packed. No idea which one yet, as I'm
supposed to be meeting up with 2 of my friends from work to watch it

If it goes to penalties, they *ought* to delay the curtain, but won't.
Perpetuum and I are yet to finalise our plans but will probably be in a
pub from about three (to get a decent seat). Failing anywhere better the
Globe is is my mind as a possibility. There are places doing lunch
packages and reserved seating, but generally needing parties of at least
6, if not 10.

Fingers crossed it won't go to penalties, because I start to panic if
I'm not inside the doors of the ROH by 15 minutes before curtain up.

I remember I was in the chorus of Pinafore when I was about 14 and it
was some crucial World Cup England match that went to penalties.
Captain Corcoran and his gallant crew refused to budge from the tv in
the green room and the curtain on Act 2 was delayed by 10 minutes as a
result. Mind you, that was only an amateur production. I guess the
year was approx 1988 and England lost...... can't remember who they
were playing against.
