Actually, Jon, you ought to be aware that you are mistaken in this. If you Google your name, you will find that the rmo archives feature prominently, just on the normal 'google' tab w/o going to the specific Group tag. The same goes for my name, and I daresay it is the same for anybody else contributing to (in their own name - I get it by sticking my eponymous url in my auto-sig) or mentioned on the group, except for those who have hundreds of references all over the net (ie the famous).
So it's worth bearing in mind that anyone doing a 'vanity google' is likely to come across a reference to themself on rmo.
