Even if this is true - and I suspect it is, knowing well at least one other
diva for whom it was an absolute necessity - is it reasonable behaviour
towards colleagues ? The sad fact that you, as an individual, need to be in
a state of blazing-eyed fury before you can manage to crank it all up for
the paying public is one thing, and something I can sort of understand [ if
not condone ] But for a rehearsal ? Get a grip, dear.
