Oh, I can.  A Corporation (company) tax rate of 12 per cent, the lowest
in the whole of Europe.

What's the UK?  40 per cent ?????  Ulster is, I think.

Headquarter a EU plc in the Republic and you pay 12 per cent wherever
the profit is made.  (Europe double taxation rules and all dat).

I know I'm Irish but even I can work that out......

I was thinking more about the costs of cheap labour, hence the reason why so many call centres were originally based in North East England or Scotland (together with the accent, of course) and why they are increasingly outsourced to India. I had heard that the cost of living was so high in Dublin it makes sense to commute from Liverpool!
